ARIES: your lovers favorite flowers which grow through the cracks of the sidewalk that most people think are weeds at first glance but actually they’re life just trying to make it through in this concrete world. the prettiest sense of survival and honesty i know. 

TAURUS: a slow, lazy, kind  summer afternoon with someone you love and the sound of your favorite vinyl record filling up the room. a loud kind of quiet. 

GEMINI: taking a walk at midnight with a slightly drunk stranger from a bar, and you both are laughing about something the rest of the world doesn’t understand. happiness in it’s least likely but most extraordinary form.

CANCER: rain when you least expect it, and when you most need it, and everything feels like the smell of the earth and home. safety in the form of your favorite weather. 

LEO: a bright, exciting day filled with exploring a new city with a group of friends you never want to let go. lots of laughter and pictures taken. the ultimate adventure, and more than just an experience, rather a memory you wish you could hold onto forever. 

VIRGO: coming home from a long day of work, but realizing  you don’t have everything but you have enough, and that’s what makes it all worth it. you’ve still got someone who loves you so much, and it’s a home cooked meal and cuddles past midnight despite having to get up early the morning after anyway. the characteristics of being human.

LIBRA: riding a roller coaster for the first time with your eyes shut, and your hands squeezed tight and you don’t know what’s going to happen but you decide to do it anyway. the first thing you remember when you close your eyes every night, a sensation that’ll follow you the rest of your life. 

SCORPIO: the first kiss you ever have and your teeth clashes and your noses collide, and the best part is knowing that it’s only going to get better from here. the story you tell over and over again because it is a part of you, and it is beautiful. 

SAGITTARIUS: drawing the word “love” with ink on your fingers while you sit on the roof with the one person who means the world to you, and they’re looking at the stars but you’re just looking at them because really it’s the same thing. hard, work bruises that are symbols of strength. you are passion and all heart. 

CAPRICORN: sitting around a campfire with a ukelele and some friends, and knowing that this is a version of your entire universe. right here. music in the air and the taste of smore’s on her tongue when you play spin the bottle at midnight. playing with fire, except it doesn’t burn. 

AQUARIUS: in a coffee bar far away from home, in a different state than where you were born, out of your comfort zone but feeling the most okay you’ve been in a long time. soft smiles, and the sound of the ocean when it crashes into the sand. hand holding, and french talkers. a version of life that we’re all searching for. 

PISCES: cold winters with someone who takes care of you. blanket forts and cookie baking challenges, poetry written on every surface the both of you touch. everything is art. warm soup, a fireplace, and my favorite film. a dreamland i want to run away to.
