MORIYAMA HOUSE by [ jonhefel ]
The Moriyama House goes against the grain of high city life in Tokyo, Japan. Instead, it relates to the Japanese tradition of the minimalist apartment. Ryue Nishizawa, the break through architect of the “Moriyama House” complex, has created these homes in such a way that allows residents to feel familiar surrounded by typical, crowded city life, but also experience quiet tranquility in a suburban setting through quaint gardens, open and large windows, and simplistic, white buildings.
